Ixis Santos, Founder of Forest Mist 

Born and raised in Honduras, Ixis Santos’s journey to founding Forest Mist began with a deeply personal struggle. From early childhood, she battled eczema, atopic dermatitis, and later, persistent acne. Her skin reacted negatively to nearly everything she tried. Prescribed topical steroid creams for years, she experienced only temporary relief, always followed by painful flare-ups.

Tired of short-term fixes, Ixis turned inward—and toward nature. Her determination to heal her own skin led her to explore the world of natural, gentle, and effective ingredients. That passion became a calling, and she eventually trained and qualified as an Organic Skincare Formulator.

Today, Ixis brings not only her knowledge but also her lived experience into every product she creates.
